so for my photo arts 3 class, our teacher told us we had to make a visual journal. i was excited, thinking this meant an actual journal....but no. it definitely meant online -_-

so here are some of my favourite artist that i've been checkin' out lately

Sally Mann


i wish i could do portraits like these. she uses a 8x10 camera (love!)


Morgan Blair


basically she was the first artist i actually started looking at online. she does photography, prints, walls, and drawings. she is pretty crazy and random. talk about serious spaz-art.


alright this next artist i found was via Stumble!, so i honestly don't know who it is. buttttt this video is a sketch of a woman from inside out at Pelourinho.com. it's pretty awesome :)


Mark Schoening


this dude is pretty chill. it's like a combination of paint splatters and insane scribbles. also, his cool installation is wood frames with color latex inside. i like the simplicity and the madness of everything going on at once.


Georgina Kattou
this is a music video is for a song called Aeroplane, and is pretty much the weirdest thing ever. i have a tendency to admire weird things; music, art, words, etc. she's an animator and illustrator :)


Chema Madoz


if you like "illusions" (kind of), or more or less paradoxes, than this artist is for your liking. it's pretty sweet, you get the jist of it.
